
Glendale Mountain Ridge football coach Doug Madoski plans to coach both his high school team and one of the Hohokam junior college teams again this year. The difference, because of COVID-19, the MCCCD has chosen to eliminate its in-person course offerings, becoming another online option at least for the fall and perhaps the school year. Hohokam will continue approving both in-person and online courses. Last season, more than 200 students attended in-person courses in the MCCCD. There are 389 students of which 298 receive a free lunch and 13 receive a price-reduced lunch.

Players will be able to take in-person and online courses that are NCAA approved in order to make them eligible to later play at NCAA Division I schools.
